This is my favorite Lao Classical Dance performance and the music is hard to come by.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the name of the band is the Sikhottaboun Band. This is a treat that the whole band was there, the music has a nice beat and the dancer danced so well with the beat, sorry no photo for this post.
This is one of my favorite performances, the ladies danced harmoniously with poise and grace, absolutely beautiful. I was very fortunate to have sat in the the front row.
The Kean is a Lao music, for some of us it might be unheard of that this used to be the instrument of choice in courtship rituals. Forn Mou or Group Dance is a Lao Classical Dance by young performers at Wat Lao Buddhavong.
One of my favorite performers were the Lao classical dancers. This one is a Champa Muang Lao dance and I will post more photos and video clips.
