We celebrated Songkran Festival, a Southeast Asian New Year at our local temple Wat Greensboro last Sunday, April 10, 2022. The celebration was early, the New Year celebration starts today April 13 to the 15th, it’s three days of celebration. The covid restriction was lifted in our area, this was an outdoor event and most didn’t wear masks. We had a few that were still wearing it; I usually would wear it also with it being this many people but didn’t this time because it was outdoor.
There was a professional photographer there (Deewood Good Photography), and he took the photo below. I see myself in this photo in the far right-hand corner taking pictures. 🙂
