This is my contribution to Scott’s Assignment 27: Vacation. I would love to take a long vacation in a far away exotic land, but for now our vacation destination is wherever our RV would take us. Vacation to me is time spending with my family.
We took many camping trips this year, one of my favorite places is Cherokee, North Carolina. There is something about the thin air, high latitude, no cell phone reception and totally disconnected from the online world. We live in the foothill, so getting up here only take about 2 hours.
Transportation is a bit odd, I guess you can say it’s the sport car version of the bicycle.
We also camped at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Labor Day weekend.
It takes us 5 hours to get to the beach, so we camped at the beach only twice this year.
Transportation of choice is the golf cart. It has to be electric golf cart, which is more environmental friendly.
Golf carts cruising at night is really neat to photograph.
This concludes my vacation assignment, thank you Scott for the fun assignment.
