I’m getting the hang of my new camera, and I shot this video last night. I was able to shoot the video with ISO 3200, which made the video a lot lighter and brighter.

We have two 55 gallon fish tanks, and a 30 gallon fish tank, so it sounds like we have a small waterfalls in our house. It has been 17 months since the last successful bred of the Jack Dempsey fry, and Bo still has many Jack Dempsey fry that are now adult fish. He sold a few to the local pet store, and gave many away on Halloween and Christmas.
Bo’s mom gave me a small cutting of her plant last Summer.
And it has produced beautiful pink flowers.
The leaves turn toward the sunlight, and next to it is my Kaffir Lime tree.
All photos and video were taken with 5DMkIII, Canon 24-105mm f/4L lens, tripod mounted.
Beautiful fish. The Kiffir lime leaves look really healthy. The blooming flowers means spring is around the corner. It is still very cold in new york and it will be here for a while.
Hi Champagne, I kept the Kiffir Lime tree in my front porch last year since it was too heavy to drag it to the garden and just brought it inside after Christmas. It’s very healthy and getting kind of big.
It’s warmer in our area this week, and I planted some early Spring vegetables this past weekend. I hope to post some photos next week. 🙂
Amazing pictures you’ve got of your Jack Dempsey fish!
Thanks Truels, not the easiest task to photograph fish in motion. I tried panning but didn’t get any decent shot.
I’m jealeous of your kaffir lime tree– my don’t have any leaves 😦
salalao, the leaves fall off on mine also, but my guess is that you must have ate yours more than me eating mine. 🙂
Glad to see the Jack Dempsey fry doing well. I always love the pet updates from your corner of the world. From grandma’s chickens to Max in the backyard. 🙂
Thanks cn, not a lot of excitement in this part of the world. 🙂
