We have a mild Winter again this year, and the chance of seeing snow in our area is highly unlikely, especially in time for Scott’s photo assignment. Scott’s latest assignment is on Winter and it’s due by January 23, 2013, check out his Assignment 23: Winter post for more detail. I’m still searching for an idea, and this is what our area looks like. It’s a view from my backyard, not your typical Winter scenery.

The leaves still clinging on the tree, perhaps they are waiting for the March winds.

It’ has been a while since I updated this Epi Plant. I received this in the mail by a fellow blogger in the Fall of 2010.

It was a small cut, as you can see the original Epi cut in the middle of the pot.

It’s sitting in my living room and has plenty of light from t he morning sun. As for the Assignment, it’s an open invitation for anyone and I hope you will participate. I would love to see Winter photos from your part of the world.

Winter may not mean snow to your area, Nye, but I am guessing winter does means something to the plants, animals and people who live there. 🙂
Scott, Winter means ice in our area and I’m glad to see a little bit of it this morning. 🙂
Definitely a different winter around you – that the white and cold one over here 😉
Truels, I used to live in NYC and do miss the snow. 🙂
