This year Lee decided at the last minute to dress up for Halloween, and I guess she wasn’t the only one because we waited 30 minutes in line to get her costume.   She was Friday the 13th Miss Voorhees, Lee was clueless as to who she was.

Bo was a Ninja, and Max a dog.

Kids trick or treat early this year, they started going around before 6 pm. I received an email from one of our salesmen that lives in NJ, and hurricane Sandy went through his area.  He said they had moved Halloween to Monday. I guess it is an important day for American and I thought it would make more sense to cancel since most will probably not be in a Halloween spirit.

Photos and video were shot with a Canon T2i and EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens.

    • Hi Truels, Halloween is popular in this area, even churches held event for children on Halloween. We live in a big neighborhood and it’s always busy during Halloween, it’s nice to see the ghosts and goblins out and about. 🙂

  1. We had tricksters visit my in-laws for candy treats; my father-in-laws’ favorite time. He is father to all in some ways. My dad died many, many decades ago. So I know not, but to be selfish.

    • Hi seule771, I think Halloween is one of the favorite events for kids next to Christmas. I didn’t get to tricker treating when I was little so it’s nice to go around even if it’s only for taking pictures.

  2. It’s great to see the neighborhood came all out for the celebration.

Halloween just came and went for me this year. But it’s always nice to see kids in their costumes. 🙂

    • cn, I noticed people are more stingy with their candies this year, which means kids had more houses to cover. I think we had more tricker treaters this year.
