More Tulips at Biltmore

More Tulips photos continued from Tulips at Biltmore.

This is the entrance to Biltmore and when we got there I was so happy to see that the tulips were in bloom.

Near the entrance is a gift shop.  This is one of the gift shops that Lee has not shopped in.

This image overlooked the town of Asheville.

A view of Biltmore House from the Tulips garden.

Lee’s levitation, she seems so big in this image.

I thought this would be a good place to do panning since the foreground is colorful.

Panning image of a pickup truck.

Panning image of bikers.

These two were heading toward the exit of the garden. going downhill from here.

All photos were taken with Canon T2i, and EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens.

  1. Glad you caught the tulips in full bloom. 🙂

Just from the photos it looks like images from France or Holland. Until you see the cars… it’s back to the good ole U.S.A.

    • cn, the tulips in front are prettier than the ones in the garden, I think the week before was peak for the tulips but I’m still glad that we get to see it this year. The car does give it away. 🙂

    • seeharhed, I know it is for me, I love to see these beautiful flowers. 🙂

The sunlight was a bit harsh in the middle of the day and difficult to see the glare on the LCD screen when shooting video clips. I think my closeup eyesight is getting bad also, and had to wear reading glasses while shooting these video clips.

    • Hi body piercing melbourne fl, thanks for your visit and comment. Our weather is cooler and glad that I didn’t miss it this year.

    • truels, the festival at Biltmore is starting this weekend and I bet those that visit will be disappointed, I hope there are some blooms left for them to see. Thanks for the links, his tulips farm are gorgeous and it must be devastating that the flowers bloomed too early but not much you can do to slow the process.
