December Photo Hunt

This is my contribution to Karma’s When I Feel Like It Blog‘s December photo hunt.

Card, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Lights, it is definitely Merry & Bright during this time of the year.

Ornament, Bo made this with chicken wire and string of lights.

frost, this is very typical in our area for a December morning.

Treat, Lee has mastered the art of baking gingerbread cookies.

Family, I’m there but just not in the picture.

Perhaps this one will work also.

The photo hunt is due on December 30th, hope you will join in the fun.

    • Hi seeharhed, there was not enough lighting and Bo had to shine it with a flashlight for me. it works wonder. 🙂

  1. Nice Christmas post, Nye! Today I am baking several different of our traditional Christmas cakes using ginger, cinnamon, cloves, honey, vanilla and more nice spices! Uhmmmm! Merry Christmas!

    • Thanks truels, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Your cookies sound delicious, Lee needs to make more cookies tonight. 🙂

    • Thanks Cambree, I hope you had a good Christmas. The ornament cabbage does very well in cold weather, and it does look very much like a flower.

  2. Nice job on the photo hunt, Nye! I love the cookie shot with the Christmas lights in the background – there is a wonderful holiday feel to that picture. It seems the south has had a bit more frost than the north this December – Scott Thomas and I had trouble finding frost to shoot this month! Your frost shot is really neat. Your family picture is sweet. Thanks for participating once again!

    • Hi Karma, it had been a fun year between your photo hunts and Scott’s assignments. We usually get a lot of frost overnight in the South, and not so much of the snow here.

  3. Beautiful photos, Nye. My favorites are the frost and cookie pictures. The chicken wire and lights is a great idea! I have some extra lights laying around and will have to come up with something crafty for them 🙂

    • Thanks Michaela, Bo got some tips from the neighbor about the chicken wire and lights, it looks real neat from a distance and fun project for kids also. The frost looks nice on plants, but not so much on my windshield early AM. 🙂
