Fifth Year Anniversary and Many Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I have many things to be thankful for, especially this blog for my sanity and my family for being so supportive. I can’t believe it has been 5 years since I started blogging. I never thought that I would have committed myself this long.  Thanks to this blog I have learned new skills, acquired new knowledge and picked up new friends along the way.  November 25 marks my fifth year anniversary, 1295 posts and still going. 🙂

    • Thanks Dallas, five years is a long, long time. I think the key to longevity is to living life one day at a time. 🙂

  3. Happy Thanksgiving for you as well – I love your colorful and evocative images. The backyard camping made me smile. My son and I have done that in our tent. 🙂

    • Thanks Dawn, I hope you and your family had a good Thanksgiving. I love tent camping also and looking forward to doing that again in the Summer. Backyard camping is fun for the kids and it costs next to nothing so it’s a win, win situation for everyone. 🙂

    • Hi giiid, thank you for being so open to a different culture and your blog has inspired me to post more photos. The Thanksgiving holiday is a great time to catch up with friends, and family members. I don’t think you celebrate over there but I’m sure we all have something to be thankful for. 🙂

    • Sabaidee San, you are welcome to comment in Lao, but I can’t reply you back in pasa Lao since my Lao writing is so limited, ขอตอบเป็นภาษาไทยได้ไหม? 🙂

  5. Here in Denmark we do not celebrate Thanksgiving. But we celebrate anniversaries! Congratulations with your fifth year anniversary, Nye!

    • Thanks truels for the anniversary wish. I guess I celebrate anything that involves food, and Thanksgiving is one of the major family get together holidays in the US.

  6. Congrats!!!! Hopefully, you still be blogging in the next 5 or 10 years from now. Looking forward to read your stories along with some awesome photos.
