I can’t believe it has been 31 days since they hatched, and they are 1 month old.  They look more like fish now with tiny tails.

They are doing well without their mother.  If she were in there right now she would have cleared the tank to make sure they are not a threat to her new eggs and soon will hatch Fry.

Yikes! she has laid more eggs. I can’t say that Bo is a proud daddy, not sure how he is going to care for the Fry and the will soon to hatch Fry. The female Jack Dempsey has been busy, Lee saw the eggs today.

The white eggs are the unfertilized or bad eggs.

This rock is bigger than her previous one, which means she has laid more eggs also.

Her tail was badly chewed during mating.

    • Cambree, he might have to work 2 jobs to help pay for their foods. Once they get to be 2 inch long he could sell them, but that’s several months away. He knows now not to put the male and female in the same tank. 🙂
