Prior to going on our camping trip, Bo had to prepare their food while we were gone for several days. He was worried about the mother Jack Dempsey being in the same tank as her Fry, it’s in that critical period where she has to be removed or otherwise ending up eating her own young. We were glad that she didn’t harm her Fry up to this point and Bo finally removed her to another aquarium today.

Bo has been feeding them powder food.

Mama has colorful markings and the little ones are cute. Especially with the close up photo of their large eyes and stripes.
Cambree, they look more like fish now and their bodies flatten out. It’s fun to watch them swim around and explore the aquarium. Lee thought they look adorable and waiting for hers to have Fry also. 🙂
My daughter will lOVE these photos and I can’t wait to share them with her. The fish are so tiny and adorable and I think it’s sweet how much you and your husband obviously care for them.
