I’ve heard a great deal about the awesomeness of this place. If you like the movie, then you will love Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This was our last day (December 27th) at Disney World and the coldest day during our stay.
We took advantage of the indoor shows to keep warm but the lines were so long that it took us about 1 hour of wait time.
Lee used her Nintendo DSi XL to take pictures.
It also kept her entertained during the long waits and stunt shows that she didn’t care for.
Rows of strollers parked outside.
Popcorn and hot chocolate were so expensive, but it’s a must in this cold weather. This time Bo wore a jacket and winter coat since it was so cold.
The Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show was great. I tried panning since the cars and motorcycles were moving so fast.
Talk about extreme stunt show, of course he is wearing a fire retardant outfit and fire extinguisher near by.
This happened so fast and I didn’t get the best angle.
The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! was great also, I love their scenes.
So this is sunny Florida, it warmed up to 75 degree after we left.
We don’t have a vending machine like this in North Carolina.
This concludes our trip to Disney World. Notice that I didn’t post any of my picture and that’s because I don’t have a good one. Bo attempted to take a few at the Magic Kingdom but it was so crowded that the images came out blurry. We should have let the Disney’s photographers to take picture for us and I didn’t know about the service until the last day of our stay.
I will add exif data when I have more time.
You captured some great action shots. Well done.
It does all look a bit chilly though. By contrast it’s quite nice and warm over here.
All the best, Boonie
Boonie, it would be nice to have your kind of weather right now. The place was packed and it’s really neat to see the stunt show live.
Very effective guided tour! Now I wonder–the next time you go to an action movie will you be distracted from the plot because you’re trying to work out how the stunts were done?
Gerry, thanks. I think I would pay attention to the camera angle and this might distract from the plot. I like to go see an action movie in Theater now. 🙂
That background painting of San Francisco cable car is pretty cool. It looks so real.
seeharhed, it’s really neat, but I bet it’s nothing comparing to the real thing. I hope to visit there one day. 🙂
I do love movies and this IS my favorite park at WDW. I’ve been there when it is cold and it is an extra challenge. You JUST missed the Hero car shot. Glad you found a way to enjoy your time there.
Hmmm…no mention of the Tower of Terror? 🙂
Scott, the cold and long lines prevented us from seeing the whole place. I saw the Tower of Terror from a distance and didn’t have time to get to it. I was kind of disappointed. I tried to take a picture of it at the Bus stop but it didn’t turn out too well.
