The best time to photograph lotus and water lily is early morning when the buds first open, and my schedules on Saturday and Sunday morning were so hectic that I took these photos on both days while I was waiting for my dad and sisters.
The floating gazebo adds a visual interest to the pond.
Only if I were on the boat, I would have gotten a better closeup shot of the lotus, but not sure if I want to take the chance.
This year lotus and water lilies are very pretty and I hope you enjoy watching my video.

I love water lilies!! We picked some up during my trip to MN, they were all over the place since there are so many lakes in MN, but sadly I wasn’t able to take any home!!!
mozemoua, that’s one thing that I was looking forward to this year was the water lilies, and there were plenty but too bad I didn’t have that much time to photograph.
