My garden is coming along nicely. I think Bo has been bragging about it, we had several visitors today. One was the lady down the block and another was a Chinese family from a nearby Chinese restaurant.
As I’ve mentioned before that I planted many gifts in this garden, the beets are a seed pack gift from CA. I can’t wait to taste them.
These lettuces are also a seed pack gift from CA.
I planted several Thai eggplants, my dad gave me the small plants but mine are not doing too well. I have lots of little black bugs munching on the leaves this year.
My dad also gave me the chili pepper plants. I planted a different variety towards the back of the planting bed this year.
My string beans are not doing as well as I had hoped, the containers help some but I might have to make a raised bed for it next year.
I planted 2 types of cucumber.
Pickle cucumber,
and small white cucumber.
Tomatoes
A flower plant gift from PaNoy.
We have been getting a few thunder storms in the last few weeks, so some of the plants look kind of muddy.
Lee’s flower garden
Bo’s Ginkgo Biloba tree is taking a growth spurt this year.
It’s looking real good Nye!!! keep us updated on your garden!
Your garden is really evolving and looking better all the time. Soon enough the Chinese restaurant will want you to supply them with fresh veggies. 🙂
And your choice of vegetables reminds me of mom’s kitchen garden. Except her plants are still babies now. It won’t be for a while until we can harvest anything.
I also like Lee’s gardening style – especially with the rose bushes. Great job Lee! 😉
Cambree, funny that you mentioned about the Chinese restaurant because Bo already sold 4 fish to them. Perhaps the vegetable is next. 🙂
I love kitchen garden, everything is so fresh. I harvested several cucumbers today and they’re delicious.
amazing!!!!!! love your garden, Nye!
Thanks lady0fdarkness, it’s coming along a lot better than I thought. 🙂
I love your garden too! I can’t wait to get my own house soon so that I could start my garden up again! By the way, what is the plant with the white flowers? It looks absolutly gorgeous.
Hi Kamee, thanks. The white flower is the Gardenia, it has a nice fragrance and can withstand cold weather. My garden is a relaxing place for me and hope you can start yours soon. 🙂
