This is a Carolina Blue sky, with a little help from a polarizing filter of course.
My Ginkgo tree is turning yellow, the fan like leaf shapes are absolutely beautiful this time of the year.
Lee has her own sense of fashion style, you won’t find this outfit anywhere, I made part of it myself last year, not something that I’m proud of. It’s funny how she puts her outfit together, kind of amuse to watch her dressed sometimes. I asked her what she wants to be when she grow up? She went from wanting to be a painter to a hat maker, and when she saw the new sewing machine that my oldest sister lent us, she now wants to be a fashion designer. She wants to learn how to sew, I think she is ready, I started out a bit older than her, might be around 10 or 11 years old.
As for leaf raking, she is a good helper.
Max wants to be in on the action also.
Nye, very nice pictures as always. I hate raking them leaf, I’ve been looking to buy me a blower/vacuum.
seeharhed, I don’t mind raking leaf, it’s good exercise, and most of the times the weather are nice. The one thing that I don’t like is shoveling the snow, I had to do that in NYC and getting up at 4 PM before going to school, not fun at all.
Nye, That’s one of reason that I would never live on East Coast. I hate the snow, getting around is so hard. I’ve visited east coast/canada so many times during the winter and I don’t know how people put up with it years after years. I guess, I’m spoiled after living in California for so many years. If I need to see some snow, it is only about 2 to 3 hrs drive up the hills.
seeharhed, my goal was to move to CA after I finished college, but as you can see that I’ve never made it that far, I don’t know if I should lol or crying here. But I think it’d be nice to visit with the family one of this day, I hope it’s not going anywhere.
Lee is very trendy. (^_^)
I love autumn.
Dallas, Autumn is nice, but too short imo. Lee dresses funky sometimes. 🙂
Me too, with Max help maybe you’ll get it done faster.
Salalao, Max wouldn’t be much help, he’ll chase Lee all day, even this, she would run in the garden and he would run outside, they acted like they’re chasing each other, with the fence that separates them. 🙂
Those colors are AMAZING! The filter was a sucess!
Thanks Maggie, I’m just beginning to get used to it.
Your Carolina Autumn is beautiful ! and your helper… very elegant 😉 Another lovely touch of colour in your garden.
Thanks isathreadsoflife, it was a nice weekend. I think my helper missed the garden as much as me, and we’re looking forward to this weekend of sunshine again, only Saturday though. 🙂
Your little helpers are also so cute! Lee reminds me of a young “Bohemian” model here. And Max is really enjoying the sunshine. 🙂
Cambree, it was a nice weather, we’ve been on the go all the time and it’s nice to hang around the house and backyard for a change. We’re expecting another nice Saturday, so I’m looking forward to that. 🙂
Lee is so cute! She’ll be a real fashionista when she get’s older. Awww, I missed fall. Instead I went straight to winter. The leaves are so pretty. I really like your pictures p’Nye.
Julie, pictures like this only made you miss home even more, but I envious you for being there, maybe someday I’ll get to visit South Korea. 🙂 Do blog about the city, I’ve been visiting your blog, but just not commenting since I don’t have an account with them.
The image, 8846 is priceless! Keep it in mind if a photo competition comes up with a subject that matches it. She is just adorable and humoristic in her own way.
giiid, thanks, it’s hard to get a good image of her sometimes, her school picture was horrible, she has this fake smile that showed all her teeth.
