It was a beautiful day yesterday, I took this picture while I was on my way to the airport to pickup my oldest sister and cousin that is visiting from France, you can see the Carolina blue sky.
It has been two weeks since I last posted about my Hmong neighbor’s rice paddy, and everything is looking so healthy.
I was surprised to see several comet fish swimming around, I wonder if you could eat these, I’ve several in my fishpond.
I saw several dragonflies also but didn’t have time to hang around, and they moved around so much, maybe better luck next time.

Nye, you know khon lao eat just about anything. I’m pretty sure you can grill those comet fish up and pun pa.. hahahhah
those rice are looking pretty good and let’s hope those grasshopper does not get to it first.
seeharhed, it’s so true that we eat everything. I’ve not seen the grasshopper yet, but they had some last year and it was not much of a problem because there weren’t that many.
