Bo has been bragging about his friend’s pond to my second sister and I, and we finally had a chance to visit her yesterday. The pond sits behind her house in wooded area.
Her pregnant cat drinks water from the pond waterfall.
Her Koi fish are not big, she gives them fish food flakes. Her pond is more of a natural pond setting and the fish also get their nutrients from their natural habitats.
Toad from the pond.
Little Miss came with us, she takes a liking of the kitten and wants to take her home.
Gabriel is showing off his rock art, I think they make the garden and pathway look whimsical.
Thanks Tanja for the tour of your pond, it’s absolutely beautiful.
aww.. the children are so adorable…
lady0fdarkness, I find that it’s hard to take a good picture of children, I could be snapping 10 shots and only get one good one (except for Little Miss Sunshine, hers come out perfect every time), and these children are adorable.
I want a pond so badly, but my brother keeps lagging at it. I dont think we’ll ever get it if i dont do it myself, but I just don’t have time to do it. btw, thats a very nice pound!
mozemoua, I think eventually you’ll get it when you’re more settled down. I also like this pond, it’s real big, almost 5x the size of my pond.
That is a nice pond. I like the idea of a mini step water fall too.
Love the photo of kids and kittens. Reminds you of how nice everything in the world can be – despite all the bad news. 🙂
Cambree, kids are carefree and have no worries, that’s how it should be.
When I tour this pond, made me think of the lady at the library, I checked out so many pond books that she asked me if I want to join the pond society. The group would meet to discuss about ponds, and also tour ponds in the area, seems kind of nice I think, I’d love doing that.
