Lao Tradition

Royal Lao Classical Dancers

Video and description by Boon Vong, The first dance is a traditional Lao blessing dance. The second one is the Kinnaly dance, which is a mythical human/bird creature. Both are performed by the Royal Lao Classical Dancers, a dance troupe descendant from the Luang Prabang court, but settling in Nashville, Tennessee.

  1. I’m always amazed to see them perform an almost 17 minutes dance on a hot summer day.

    1. I’d love to see them perform live, I’ve only seen them on videos, they did an excellent job in performing at the recent royal wedding in Canada.
