Let it Snow

They said that it’d snow since Monday, but it never did.  When I woke up this morning, what a pleasant surprise, it did snow.

Max was born in the summer, so this is his first snow.  He is a wild child, he has knocked the pagoda and bricks into the fishpond numerous times, he has too much energy.

  1. Beautiful!!!! We haven’t seen any real snow yet. There was some back in Dec. b ut it was so littl ethat it didn’t stick. But it’s been so cold that it might snow here.

  2. lady0fdarkness, I used to live in NYC and have seen too much snow, but now I’m glad to get a little of it.

mozemoua, it usually sleet during this time of the year, but I’m surprised that it did snow. I hope that you’ll get some soon.

  3. Max looks like he enjoys eating the snow too.

Btw, I see firewoods. Did you have to chop them yourself? In California, we are allowed to burn firewoods only on certain days (for air quality control). But it’s much too warm for us to ever need a fireplace here.

  4. Salat, I’m not sure what he was thinking, but he ate the snow off from the deck as well.

The firewood was from a dead tree in the yard, and my dad helped cut it down, I do need to give that to my younger sister. I’ve a gas fireplace but only used it once or twice in the last 5 years, and it’s not that cold here, but I don’t think there is any restriction in burning woods in our state, just the water restriction here.
