ELLE Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2008 Thailand – Senada Theory

Senada Theory – Tent @ Central World, March 22, 2008, 21.00

Senada* Theory presented Dazz Up!!!, a classic elegant look from head to toe with their latest collection for Spring/Summer 2008. Senada*Theory open this season with the new look, their apparels are more form fitting, with multi-tiered ruffled dress in both short and long that’s contouring every women’s feminine curve, creating a silhouette look.

This collection is inspired by Christian Dior’s, the classic era of the ‘50s, giving you the feeling of vacationing in the Mediterranean. The blouses are form fitting, delivered the tailored look, with beautifully decorated hand smocking and pleat details creating the tailored fit, plus the soft touch of puffed sleeves, colorful satin ribbon detailing, and quilt details on collars. The multi-tiered ruffled dress were created by using fabrics such as cotton silk satin, cotton silk chiffon, and sheer silk chiffon that create a graceful silhouetted look, then combine with thicker fabrics to create form and adding volume by using fabrics such as cotton silk, and crepe de chine that give you the overall feeling of wearing a tribal dress.

The color scheme used in this collection is interesting, to welcoming a new season are sweet pastel colors that give you the feeling of femininity, then a more uniform color that creates a contrast such as beige, midnight blue, dark chocolate brown, classic black and white, and lime green or electric lime, which give you the sweet sexy look of Senada*Theory in their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Besides the usage of interest color pallets, there are also exotic prints that harmoniously blend with nature, reminding us of global warming, an issue of vital importance for the future.
