Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! by Frank Sinatra

Our first official snow taken with a Canon PowerShot SD800 IS (first photo), I just hope that I could make it up the hill. I work in the back office, so I only get to see the snow when I walk to the window, but one of my co-workers would walk back to see me once in awhile to give me an update on the snow, and at one point she had both her hands moving back and forth frantically in front of her, that the snow was coming in both directions.

Updated 6:22 pm (18:22), the traffic was really bad coming home.  I left work a bit early because I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to climb up the hill.  When I left, it looked like a ski slope, I’m at the bottom looking up, and the only way home is going uphill.  My 4 wheel drive did very well, and there were several cars and pickup trucks stranded on the side of the road, but I didn’t have any problem even though the roads were getting icy.

The snow is still coming down hard, I think we might be getting more than 6 inches at the rate that it’s coming down.

Max loves the snow, he ate several snow balls today.

Lee made a snow angel.

And you can guess who was dragging her in this picture, definitely not Max.

Our only Christmas decoration in front of our house, the two deer look a lot better with snow. I used a polarizing filter to cut down on the glare of the snow, this made the background a bit darker.
