Continued from: Charlotte Dragon Boat Festival – Part II the Parade of Nations
The cultural program began with a Hmong dance, Lub neej toj siab.

Thai Dance of Sweet Benediction.

With the word ‘Splash’ in the background, this made me think of the little mermaid.

Burma, Kyamabawa Ma Hnin Si dance. Her skirt tail was extremely long, it amazed me that she didn’t trip on it, but kicked it back and forth as part of her dance ritual.

China, Jasmine Flower from Charlotte Chinese Academy.

South Korea Hon Ryu Sword Demonstration.

Laos, Sao say No, Little Lao Princesses. She has been patiently waiting…

She’s got the moves.

China, little mouse dance, Mei Mei Team of Little Lotus Group.

India, Nityangan Dance by Ritu’s Group.

Vietnam, No Limit Stunt Crew, Acrobatic Dance.

One did get hurt.

Thanks Cambree, I really enjoyed the event. I think we all had a great time and talked about attending next year’s event. The girls, especially the young ones did well on their performance.

Ouch for the one who got hurt!!!!
It’s actually spelt “Lub Neeg Toj Siab” with only one “A”.
the event looks like it was extremely fun and entertaining!

mozemoua, thanks for the spelling correction. The crowd really like the No Limit Stunt Crew, I think lots of young girls were there.
The event was fun, I missed the second part event or they might not have it since it rained, I saw many packed up and left with us.

Oh and the meaning of “Lub neeg toj siab” is the life living in the country/mountains.
I am sure if I was there, I would totally enjoy the stunt crew as well!!!

LOL ginger.. I didn’t even catch it. But its “neej” with a “J” and not “neeg” with a G. “neeg” is people/person while “neej” is life. In Hmong terms, neeg is grammerly incorrect with the statement/title that was given.
(sorry, I forgot to log in on the previous reply)

Thanks mozemoua, I got the name from the program, and didn’t know the meaning of it, thanks. The stunt crew was a crowd pleaser, I took so many pictures but only post a few.

Hey so umm yea where is the Vietnamness girl that you thought was hot. I still think the homong girl is better but you can’t beat the thai girl dancing. No one can beat that thai girl in the golden dress.

Hey Lay, sorry about that, I’ve been busy lately, I’ll email you the pics tonight. I don’t know about girls, I just don’t find them hot looking if you know what I mean.
but I thought the Vietnamese girl looks pretty, here are her picture#1, and picture #2.
