One of my favorites Thai classical music, or the Mahoree is Lao Damnerm Sai, to me it’s more of a Lao music than a Thai music.
I was fortunate to find a bamboo flute version from a Lao website, Seasite.niu.eduLao, Dam Nuen Xay-Khui (Bamboo Flute),Vientiane/1996. It was in a Ram file, and a friend was kind enough to convert to MP3 for me, here it is, sounds nice but has some background noise.

I wanted to post a baby picture, but didn’t dare. I visited a friend last Sunday, him and his wife just have a new baby boy and he has heard that I wanted to start a garden this year, and gave me a bunch of baby plants. They have grown some since he gave me, I do need to re pot them this weekend.

Wow! The wonders and beauty of life, it simply just finds a way…from dirt, water, and sunlight, and love. Kind of like magic in the making don’t you think?

Thanks PaNoy, as soon as it’s nice outside then I’ll transfer it to my new garden. I need to start planting some herbs.

these songs are so emotional… by the way, would you happen to have a thai classic song that goes something like…
“din jow auey ka koy yoo krai ma gone…. din oon lorn lae yin.. something something..”
he’s talking about the soil/dirt/earth that he used to get comfort from when his wife went away..
I LOVE that song a lot.

lady0fdarkness, I don’t have that song, but my oldest sister thought she might have it, and will look for it when she has a chance. I’ll keep you posted.
The song is sad, especially the Khui or Bamboo Flute version, but sometimes listening to sad music is good for the soul.

Beautiful music! It sounds very beautiful yet sad at the same time. After watching so many Thai Lakorns I can picture a Thai or Laos girl dancing to these songs. Thanks for sharing!!

mozemoua, I’m glad that you like the song, and this would be a good background music for Lakorns, especially the bamboo flute version.

The music is so relaxing – it feels like my spirit is being taken away out of HK to Laos.
Serenity.
