ELLE Magazine is the biggest selling women’s magazine in the world, and Thailand’s top selling women’s magazine to date. ELLE has become an indispensable resource book for young fashion-conscious Thai women.

This year, ELLE Fashion Week 2008 Spring/Summer at Central World is presenting Thai top 10 designers, and the sponsors for 2008 Spring/Summer event are the cosmetic line Bobbi Brown, The Bangkok Post, L’Oreal Professionnel, and Coke Zero, which help support Thai fashion industry to have equivalent quality as International Fashion. The fashion week event will help Thai designers to present their latest collections according to seasonal trend, and this year top brands that are presenting at ELLE Fashion Week 2008 Spring/Summer at Central World are Kai, Zenithorial, 27 Friday, Senada Theory, Sretsis, AB-Normal, Kloset Red Carpet, Tipayaphongpoosanaphong, Asava, and Hook’s by Prapakas.

Mr. Somchai Kawtong, or ‘Khun Kai’ is one of the locally well-known names that has been around since the beginning of the Thai fashion industry; he has returned once more with his Spring/Summer collection made exclusively for ELLE Fashion Week 2008 at Central World. Also known as Siam Couturier, Kai designs this Spring/Summer collection of dresses with the finest lace, silk, and linen that is suitable for summer wear. The lively printed fabrics and his fine tailored dresses made his collection looks elegant and classy.
