I visited my younger sister yesterday because I saw her last week and she mentioned about my GI Joe sister is into raising Pee Heih (ghost) now a day, and I wanted to see what it looks like, my GI Joe sister lives right next to my younger sister. I also want to see my younger sister fish ponds, her latest one that I’ve not seen is the one on her deck, she said that she purchased a water tub that’s used for horse feeding, and it looks real pretty sitting on her deck, the view from her window looking from the inside is amazing, this I’ve got to see for myself.
When I got to her house, something in her hallway caught my attention, it was her Buddha alter and made me think of K who recently thought about getting a Buddha statue for his flat. This is a Japanese Buddha statue, you can tell by the shape of the face and round head. Thai or Lao Buddha statue has a more pointy-head to signify brightness, pointy meaning ‘Lamh’ (sharp); this was once explained to me by a local monk.

This is her pond on her deck.

She has a green thumb, many of my other sisters’ and my water lily all came from hers’, she also loves indoor plants, and they look somewhat exotic to me, this one she calls it ‘tout pa lur see’ (meaning the water bottle carry by wise man (monk) that travels in the forest), see the bottom has a sort of round shape that looks like a water bottle.

This is her fist pond, it’s in her front yard, her water lily leaves are somewhat small, and I think they grow according to the size of the pond because the ones that she gave me, the leaves are 3-4 times the size of hers.

I actually like the fishpond garden. As for the Buddha head statue, I wanted something similar like this.
Those potted-plants looks beautiful. Can I catch some fish?

I think the Buddha head that you’ve in mind looks real nice; I believe it’s the Thai Buddha because of the pointy head. If you want to buy it, you should definitely get it, but make sure that you don’t sit it on the floor.
Her fish are real cute; they’d come up for you to touch, unlike mine that would hide when they see people. My fish also ate all the roots of my floating plant, but hers’ won’t touch it. You can take the photos if you like. Her pillows, cushions, chairs, and sofas, she made that herself, also all her drapery. I knew you have a thing for pillows.

Hi Ginger, your little sister’s ponds and plants are simply a celestial feast to our eyes and mind. The cute Buddha statue is quite cute and alive. But I envy the plants adorned with ever living, throbbing, vibrating plants and flowers which would spell at once a celestial wonder and thunder in my heart. A natures wonder and splendour facilitated by a great creative force of your sister. Thanks a lot for the feast.
