I hope this will be an inspiration for our young talented Laotian designers out there. Most Laotian parents don’t approve for their children to pursue a career in Fashion Design because the success rate of being able to make a living is very slim. I believe that having the ability to design is a gift that most of us don’t have and you should not let people’s harsh words prevent you from pursuing your dream; sometimes you need to look deep inside yourself and ask if you’re ready to take that chance. It’s nice to be able to live and work in an environment that is considered a safe zone but being able to work in an environment that is exciting and doing something that you truly love is even better. I hope that these young Thai fashion designers will be an inspiration to you.
